Live camera Le Landeron, Switzerland

The first traces of human habitation near Les Landerons were the remains of a pottery workshop (961-957 BC) found on the banks of the Thiel.

At Les Carougets there is a late Bronze Age grave, a Roman villa and traces of early medieval hut foundations. In addition, several Roman statues have been discovered, including Hercules, a rooster and something of a peacock.
