From the west it is washed by the Gulf of Thailand, from the southeast - by the South China Sea. Cape Camau is the southernmost point of Vietnam. Kilometer zero of roads is counted from the village of Sommui. Before the road was built, communication with the village was only through a 120-kilometer water channel.
