Hofn is a port city in southeastern Iceland. The original name of the city looks like "Hofn," so in the Russian version the city may also be called Höbn. The port is home to 1,641 people.

The main occupation of the inhabitants is fishing and fish processing, most work at one of the three fish processing plants. Recently, the tourist industry is actively developing in the city.
