Zubova Polyana is a working village in the Republic of Mordovia. The administrative center of the Zubovo-Polyansky municipal district and the Zubovo-Polyansky urban settlement. The settlement is located in the south-west of the republic, on the Parza River (a tributary of the Vada, the Oka basin), 440 km from Moscow and 201 km from Saransk. The Moscow-Samara railway line (the historical direction of the Transsib), the station of which Zubova Polyana is located in the village, and the federal highway M5 "Ural" pass through the Zubovo-Polyanskoe urban settlement.
