Stokmarknes is a small town on the island of Hadsel in Nordland county in Norway. It is the center of the Hadsel commune. Received city status in 2000. Hurtigruten is based there. The Regional Hospital for the Vesterolen region is located in Stokmarnes. In 2009 there were 3148 inhabitants in Stokmarknes.
