Nigeria

Nigeria is a country in the west of Africa. On the southern side, it has borders with Benin, Niger, Shallem and Cameroon. Nigeria is almost three times the size of Germany.

Official languages: English, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba.

The first Europeans to discover the area were the Portuguese. But later it became a colony of Great Britain. Nigeria became a free country in 1960. Since then, there have been many uprisings, violent actions and civil wars.
